Fund raising for 2008-9
School Year
Consultant Tim Knuth presented the Entertainment Book and Sally Foster products, including cookie
dough. Received
well. Agreed upon was the possibility of cookie dough sales early in the school year, with the Entertainment Books as incentive. Directors will further look into
for dates as best potential for success.
Decision to discontinue the
Orchestra Boosters support for the fruit sale. The money raised have dwindled from $20,000 to $1,700 in the past years. It will be continued by the choir and band.
Afternoon Tea for
2008-9
Discussion about the group Barrage was discussed.
Dr. Wells passed information on to Sue. Through
experience with past performances, it was found to not be as conducive to the
performance of the students. Other possibilities were discussed,
such as alumni performing, and the added benefit of bringing in community
support. Need committee to discuss this over summer.
E-mail will be sent later asking for participation in planning the
tea.

Ravinia for summer orchestra. Schedule of Ravinia provided. Directors found the hazards to be too great with
students, however a family outing would be considered.

from Afternoon Tea using Blurb software. Suggestion of including all events of the year to be included.
Price may run too high $50 estimate. May consider other
companies, including Josten, KeyLite, … for lower costs.
