Treasurer’s Report Review:
Notable remarks:
T-shirt sales brought in $1,251 since September
Annual fruit sale brought in $2,134  Top seller: Renate Barker Washington MS - $638.00.
Considering this the main fundraising event for school funds, lack of interest and consecutively lower fund amounts raised over past several years, has Boosters considering alternative method of raising funds.  Any input from teachers would be helpful.
This year, additional distribution site at Walmart, though difficult weather conditions, was deemed successful by patrons and fun for student helpers.

Scholarships:
Directors sent letters for students about summer music camps.  Six scholarships to be awarded to students.  Students must present a DVD or VHS recording of themselves playing their instrument; an essay on the theme “What Music Means to Me” with preference given to students new to the camp experience.  Details on the website: www.kenoshaorchestraboosters.org  We could use information about music camps available to our students for the website.  Decisions made at meeting before Orchestra Fest.  Need to determine date.  Winners are notified by mail and announced at Orchestra Fest.

Afternoon Tea with Rachel Barton (Pine) – February 24th
Reminder for teachers to distribute Tea/scholarship reminder to parents.
