Duties for school representatives
The school representative acts as a liaison between the Boosters and the school's orchestra director. Reps are asked to attend the monthly meetings and keep their director informed of our plans and decisions, and to ask for their input. Reps also help procure volunteers for various events throughout the school year.
Meeting dates and times:
Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month throughout the school year, September thru May, excepting December, at the ESC building, 3600-52nd Street at 7:00pm. Meetings generally last an hour. The meeting room number will be posted on the door. The doors to the ESC building are now locked after regular business hours. If you arrive after 7:00 and there is no one to let you in, call Sue's cell number: 262 308-1246, and someone will let you in.
Volunteers are needed for:
Fundraiser delivery: Sally Foster Cookie Dough, November 17, 2008. Time and location to be determined. Will be posted on the website.
Aftenoon Tea: Sunday, February 15, 2009 from 1-5pm. Location to be determined.
Solo and Ensemble: Help get 4-5 volunteers per school; booster members assist with judges' breakfast and lunch.
Orchestra Fest: Volunteers needed to help the morning of Orch Fest to prepare the flowers that will be sold that evening; help get 4-5 volunteers per school to usher, hand out programs, monitor doors, etc. Booster members are needed to sell tickets, flowers, and bottled water before and after the concert.
